Itinerary
DAY 1.Transfer to Cape town.
Depart from your home country to Cape town, you will be picked up by our driver directly from the airport and transfer you to your booked hotel. Check into your booked hotel, refreshen up and relax at the hotel depending on your arrival time, you can choose to take a walk around the hotel. Dinner and an overnight at the hotel. .DAY2: Cape Town and Caple Mountain.
After morning breakfast, explore Cape Town with the Hop-On Hop-Off bus. It is the most convenient way to explore Cape Town as you get to many attractions and activities. Visit Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden is one of the most beautiful gardens in the world. True enough with its beautiful setting, blue skies and Table Mountain backdrop. A trip to Cape Town is never complete without visiting the Table Mountain, the most iconic landmark of the city. You can either reach the top with the cable car or through hiking. There are many unique indigenous floras and faunas in this mountain area. Table Mountain, as its name implies, is a flat-topped mountain overlooking city of Cape Town and the vast Atlantic Ocean.
DAY 3: V&A Waterfront, Robben Island, Bo-Kaap and Camp’s Bay
V&A Waterfront is a huge bustling area where you literally can’t finish exploring in just a day. Visit Robben Island-This is where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned during Apartheid. You can visit the cell that he was jailed in before he went on to become the first Black president of South Africa. Next is Bo-Kaap- This historically a Malay neighborhood, and the origin story of the colorful houses is one of oppression and then liberation. Before the people living in this quarter were emancipated, they were not allowed to paint their houses. Every house had to be painted white. Once they were freed, the residents painted their houses in all kinds of colors to express this freedom. Besides people’s homes, you’ll find colorful corner stores and mosques as well. Camp’s Bay Finally, Camp’s Bay is perhaps the best-known beach in the city, and for a good reason: It’s like a stunning natural panorama in the middle of the city.
You will later in the afternoon after the lunch break go for the Sunset Champagne Cruise, this cruise lasts 90 minutes and includes 2 glasses of local sparkling wine, followed by an onshore dinner at a restaurant of your choice.DAY4: Cape Peninsula tour and the renowned Cape Winelands.
Taking a Cape Peninsula tour is definitely a must-do activity. Your day will be full of scenic drives, iconic landmarks, and penguin beaches. No trip to Cape Town is complete without visiting Boulder’s beach. Boulders Beach is the largest penguin colony in all of Africa. You will also visit Cape of Good Hope- The Cape of Good Hope is where Bartholomeu Dias famously established a trading route between Europe and the Near East. Dias called the Cape “The Cape of Storms”, for its turbulent waters. When you come here, you’ll see how rocky the seas are and rough the waves – this spot has claimed many ships before it!
When you get here, you’ll be able to climb to the top of a rockpile in order to get a view around. Be sure to wear good hiking shoes, there aren’t exactly a lot of railings and it’s easy to miss where the path is supposed to be!DAY5: Wine tasting
No trip to Cape Town is complete without visiting the world-renowned Cape Winelands! It’s seriously the most beautiful wine country you will ever see. The views here are stunning, the wine is great, and the food is world-class. There are a few areas of wine country, but the two main ones are Stellenbosch and Franschoek. They are only about 30 minutes apart from each other, so you can visit both in the same day if you wish. Stellenbosch is just 50 minutes away from the Camp’s Bay area of Cape Town, and Franschoek is 1 hour and 15 minutes away.
DAY6: (Transfer back to the airport)
After the morning breakfast, check out of the hotel and be transferred to the airport for your scheduled flight.(END)
