Overview
This tour will take you through Queen Elizabeth National Park, with a variety of different species of mammals and bird, and the famous Kazinga Channel for boat cruising. Queen Elizabeth National Park is definitely among the world’s most bio diversified wildlife sanctuary featuring leopards, tree climbing lions, chimpanzees, hippos, African elephants and Cape Buffaloes, not forgetting the beautiful lunch cruise along Kazinga Channel.
You will later be transferred to Fort Porta. Fort Portal is known for its breathtakingly beautiful falls, lush green jungles with exotic wildlife, crater lakes, a vibrant nightlife, and a rich traditions and rituals serving as a reminder of its glorious past. Fort Portal is all that, and a lot more. There are so many activities to do when you visit Fort.

Safari Iterinary
Day 1: Arrival and departure
After breakfast you head west of Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park, the journey will take you 6-7 hours. You will have a stopover at the Equator where you will have an opportunity to stand in 2 hemispheres at the same time and take photos. You will to continue to Mbarara where you will have lunch. Proceed to the park as you drive through the spectacular landscape characterized with open grasslands, Ankole long horned cattle, tea plantations, and various woodlands. Reach the park in the late afternoon, relax at the lodge as you wait for your dinner and an overnight.
Day 2: Game drive and boat cruise
Begin your day with delicious breakfast before getting on with the game drive on different trails in the park. You will have a great opportunity of seeing various animals like water bucks, Uganda kobs, elephants, buffalos, lions, warthogs as well as various birds. After the drive, go back to the lodge for lunch. After lunch, you will have a 2hour boat cruise on the famous Kazinga channel that connects Lake George and Lake Edward. While on the boat you will see a good number of animals like Hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, warthogs, elephants, kobs among others. You will also have a chance to view different kinds of birds like Kingfishers, pink backed pelicans, on the banks and in trees. You will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight.
Day 3: Trip to sites around fort portal
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Fort Portal, here you will visit the Amabere caves, Semuliki hot springs and later check in to your booked hotel for dinner and an overnight.
Day 4: Visit to crater lakes
You will have a heavy and tasty breakfast, check out of the hotel. Then go visit crater lakes. Enjoy your lunch still along the way, proceed to Kampala, where you will be dropped off at your hotel in the evening.
