3 days in Lake Mburo N.P tour. This attractive park of rolling hills and grassy valleys interspersed with thickets woodlands and rich wetlands is the only place in Uganda where Impala still occur and is the best place to see large herds of Elands (African’s largest Antelopes). This tour will enable you to do a variety of activities such as game drives, birding, nature walks and boat cruise at Lake Mburo National Park.

Safari Iterinary

DAY 1.Travel to Lake Mburo National park.

You will be picked from your place of stay at 6am, start the trip to Lake Mburo National Park travelling west ward on Kampala-Masaka highway while you enjoy beautiful sceneries of fruit and vegetable markets and you will also get to experience local roadway snacks prepared by the local vendors. The journey will take 3-4 hours with a stopover at the Equator where you will have an opportunity to stand in two hemispheres at the same time and also take pictures.You will continue to Mbarara for Mbarara city tour. Later continue to Lake Mburo where you will have dinner and an overnight.

DAY2: Game drive in the game park..

You will have an early breakfast and set off for a sunrise game drive in the park, expect to see a variety of wildlife such as zebras, monkeys, impalas, waterbucks, elands, buffaloes, hippos, topi among others. You will return to your lodge for lunch and in the afternoon go for a Nature walk, or swimming at the lodge. Later in the afternoon, you will go on a boat trip on the lake to see a variety of animals such as hippos, crocodiles, and bird species such as pelican, heron, fish eagle, black crake which can only be viewed on a boat trip. You will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight.

DAY 3: End of trip

Transfer back to Kampala, you will be dropped off to your residence.
